Barnegat Lighthouse is Open: The # 2 tourism destination in the State Of New Jersey is open on weekends and has reported a “full parking lot” and a great number of visitors in the past few weekends.

Annual LBI Surf Fishing Tournament: October 8-December 4 on the beaches of LBI. Anglers weigh in striped bass and bluefish to compete for thousands of dollars in cash and prizes in daily, weekly, segment and grand prizes. Boats not permitted. Halloween Candy Buy-back: through November 30th: Ocean Family Dental, Ship Bottom. Kids get $1 per pound of their candy, which will be sent to our troops.

December 3: Fantasy Island Christmas Parade Events & After Party: Look for characters of “Our Fantasy Island” in the parade, as well as Mayor Gator who will be handing out special gifts! Fantasy Island will be hosting the after party event for the parade from 3-6pm, where kids can get free goodie bags, free pictures with Santa, and they can redee, their special gift! Santa will have “Our Fantasy Island” storybooks while supplies last.
